Rules for AR-15 Golf

We will follow the same basic rules as best ball golf, both players will tee off then play the best ball of the two.

Additional Rules Are As Follows:

1. You must be 18 or older to play.
2. All players must attend the safety meeting. The Range Safety Officer (RO) will hold the safety meeting before each assigned tee time.
3. ALL standard firearm safety rules apply.
4. Hearing and eye protection must be worn while competing and is recommended for all spectators.
5. All spectators will remain in designated areas.
6. Each group of golfers will be assigned an RO. The RO will control all rifles, blank ammunition & golf balls. The RO will determine when it is safe to shoot.
7. Players must always follow the direction of the RO.
8. All firearms, ammunition & balls used in the game will be provided by us.
9. No players or spectators will possess any type of firearms or ammunition that is not supplied by us.
10. There will be NO alcohol consumption allowed before or during the competition. Anyone who has been drinking alcohol will not compete or will be removed from the competition. The RO will make this determination.
11. If a blank misfires, at the discretion of the RO, you will get another shot that will not count against your score.
12. Stay off the regular golf green. A separate clearly marked AR-15 Golf green is what will be used.
13. The green will be a painted circle with a visible flag in its center. The team who gets closest to the flag in the least number of shots will win the hole.
14. If the RO or SO determines that a player is in violation of any of the rules, they can disqualify the player. The decision of the RO is final. Upon disqualification the player will be asked to leave the competition area. No refund of entry fee will be given.
